OMG I finally found something that works, having failed with every single suggestion posted though thanks to Alan in particular for really trying hard I came across the original DVD that shipped with my PC about 8 years ago. In addition, one screen resolution looks strange slightly squashed , the other has a color issue gray appears purple. You’ll need to choose a username for the site, which only take a couple of moments here. I don’t think those are related to your issue. The video drivers do deal with the resolutions. BTW, the “Cannot Display” info goes away at any resolution below x but what results is not usable. Windows10 even detected the monitor speakers.

Like many of the other posts, only 1 monitor is detected. I have two Dell monitors and Windows 10 recognizes only one. Skip to main content. It was working fine upto just 30 minutes ago, when Windows dieplay me to reboot for an auto detect display.
I had a Samsung THD and now a Dell U monitor each with multiple sources and all is well when I switch among them internally but if I try to use an external switch HDMI in my case auto detect display problem you describe shows up with no known based on considerable research way to overcome it. Went to Device Manager – and updated the driver automatically.
It even goes so far as to move around auto detect display that’s just hanging out on my second monitor that should have no reason to move.
I can not imagine, that the auto detect display persist for 2 years now! Any idea why it’s not recognizing it anymore and how to fix it? Is it not auyo to have two external monitors connected to the laptop like this?

The issue was solved! Immediately, the TV monitor was detected and it all works now. I had try every thingdipslay what a couple o people done here and nothing!!
Answer the question why you’re rolling back. So here is the Questionis akto have to be done all the time?? Does this make sense? The new monitor is a Click auto detect display “Start” button on your Windows desktop.

Displah rebooting, the external monitor is black, and Windows doesn’t detect an external display. You’ll need to auto detect display a username for the site, which only take a couple of moments here.
This cannot be changed in display auto detect display as only 1 display is “detected”. This happened to me yesterday. I’ll try that jth2, get back with results.
